Kraft Check-Out Hunger
November 4, 2015 to January 20, 2016
Hunger affects ONE in FIVE people in Hawaii.
YOU can make a difference in somebody’s life just by adding a small donation to your grocery bill! Donate to YOUR island’s food bank right at the check-out counter via the bright green coupons at the register for Kraft Foods Hawaii’s Check-Out Hunger Campaign.
Between November 5, 2015 and January 20, 2016, you can “Check-Out Hunger” at your local Safeway, Times Supermarkets, Big Save Markets, Don Quijote, KTA Super Stores, Tamura’s Market, Tamura’s Fine Wine & Liquors, Tamura’s Supermarket, ChoiceMART , Shima’s Supermarket, or Fujioka Wine Times.
The beneficiaries of these donations are: Hawaii Foodbank on Oahu, Hawaii Foodbank Kauai Branch on Kauai, the Maui Food Bank on Maui, and the Food Basket on Hawaii Island.
Kraft Foods in Hawaii kicks off the Check-Out Hunger each year with a $5,000 donation to the Hawaii Foodbank. Over the past twelve years, Kraft Foods has donated $60,000 to the campaign.
The Check-Out Hunger Campaign has raised over 2.4 MILLION DOLLARS for Hawaii food banks since its inception over 20 years ago, and it’s all due to the generosity of shoppers like you!
