JOIN THE FIGHT. Here’s how in 3 easy steps.
Step 1. Choose an Opportunity
We have opportunities to join us in our fight against hunger year-round in our warehouse and during our Special Events season. Take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities Brochure to find a match.
Step 2. Complete an Application
A completed application is needed to begin your placement in a volunteer opportunity. Please fill the application out and return it to the Volunteer Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by fax at 808.836.2272. You may also mail your application to 2611 Kilihau Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. Please attention to “Volunteer Manager.”
Step 3. Schedule an Interview & Orientation Tour
Individual appointments are scheduled every Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Interview & Orientation Tour will take about 45 minutes which includes viewing a 13 minute video on proper salvaging and sorting. Please call the Volunteer Manager at 836.3600 ext. 239 to schedule your appointment.

Individual and Group registrations being accepted now.
Volunteer Needs: 3,000
Minimum age to volunteer is 16 accompanied by adult.
Volunteers will help with sign-waving, fish-netting, food collecting, sorting, registration and water distribution.
Service Time: 3 shifts between 8am and 3pm. Please visit our Food Drive recruitment page for more details.
Special Attire: Hawaii Foodbank 2015 Food Drive T-shirt provided.
Pre-registration deadline: March 27, 2015.
Late registration deadline: April 10th.

Volunteer Needs: 70 Strong People
Must be 18 or older
Volunteers are needed to help move, sort, shrink wrap & weigh very large quantities of canned and dry food donations. This is very strenuous work, lifting, pulling & pushing.
Service Time: Shifts between 3pm and 9:30 pm, depending on assignment.
Special Attire: Covered shoes mandatory.
