What will the new check-in process look like?
Step 1: Come to one of our food distributions.
Step 2: Answer the usual intake questions. We will log your responses in our new system.
Step 3: Access our food assistance services as you usually would.
On your next visit, we’ll look up your profile to check you in. No additional information is needed unless something has changed.
What information is collected?
Some agency partners may also ask additional questions related to services they provide, such as dietary restrictions and preferences — all with the intent of providing you and your household with better service.

What happens to the information?
We will always treat you and your information with dignity and respect. We will not share your personal information, and your choice to provide your information will NOT affect your access to our services. You will never be refused service or discriminated against based on your answers.

All Hawaiʻi Foodbank agency partners will eventually use Neighbor Connector, which will allow you to check in and receive food without the need to re-register at each location.
