Hawaiʻi Foodbank is for Everyone

If you need help with food, we are here.

Hawaiʻi Foodbank is for Everyone

No matter who you are, where you’re from or what you’re going through: If you need help with food, we are here.

Hunger relief is a shared kuleana (responsibility). When communities come together, everyone has a better chance to thrive. Creating a food-secure Hawaiʻi requires everyone’s support. Hawaiʻi Foodbank works with a powerful network of community partners to address hunger in Hawaiʻi. That collaboration enables us to serve every single neighbor regardless of age, background, circumstance, or location. As long as the need exists, Hawaiʻi Foodbank is here for you. For everyone.

We can’t do this work alone. We’re calling on the community to stand with us.

Advance food security. Together, let’s build a resilient Hawaiʻi for future generations.

That’s Not You

Hunger doesn’t have a single face.

People experiencing food insecurity include working adults, families, kūpuna, keiki, college students – basically, community members from all walks of life.

The reality is that many individuals across Hawaiʻi are struggling to afford food. The traditional stereotypes are gone, and today, Hawaiʻi Foodbank serves neighbors from every sector of our society. People we encounter every day in our offices, at school, passing on the street, or shopping in the grocery store.

Our neighbors are forced to make hard choices about what they can afford to bring home and feed their family. Assumptions are misleading. Food insecurity can affect anyone.

Maybe it’s affecting you right now. If it is, Hawaiʻi Foodbank is here.

Hawaiʻi Foodbank is for Everyone.
