Your support will help ensure Hawai‘i Foodbank has the resources we need to help our families and neighbors during the shutdown and beyond.
For thousands of Hawai‘i residents, the government shutdown means uncertainty about paychecks and food benefits. Families are running out of food now, and rental and utility assistance may take time to reach households. This uncertainty is incredibly stressful for households already operating on tight budgets.
To help, we have been proactively sourcing more food, expanding distributions and coordinating with community partners to meet the increased need — but we need your help to sustain support for those impacted by the shutdown while continuing to serve the 160,000 people who were already turning to Hawai‘i Foodbank for help each month.
