Great Chefs® Fight Hunger

Saturday, April 15  |  5 - 9 p.m.

The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Ho‘okupu Center

Join Hawai‘i Foodbank for a specially curated, locally sourced meal that celebrates Hawai‘i Foodbank’s 40th anniversary and our relationship with ‘āina.

After a three-year hiatus, we’re excited to announce the return of Great Chefs® Fight Hunger, and we’d love for you to join us. We’re re-imagining this annual culinary fundraiser for Hawai‘i Foodbank, which will take place Saturday, April 15, at the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Ho‘okupu Center.

This year, we’re honoring Hawai‘i Foodbank’s 40th anniversary and reflecting on what it means to gather. For 40 years, we have gathered food and support from our generous community. We’ve witnessed that same community gather together time and time again to uplift one another during periods of great need. And every day, we gather our resources to provide consistent, equitable food access to every member of our ‘ohana.

As we come together for this year’s Great Chefs® Fight Hunger, we will gather around the dinner table for a specially curated, locally sourced meal that celebrates our relationship with ‘āina. As we gather food from around us, we recognize our responsibility to cultivate and reciprocate the nourishment we receive. Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner, select wines and an engaging evening that examines how food empowers us to gather and build connections — between ‘āina, ‘ohana, thriving communities and a sustainable future.
