September is Hunger Action Month

This September, every action ― big or small ― is one step closer to a Hawai‘i where no one is hungry. Your voice, your actions and your commitment are critical in the movement to end hunger.

When people are fed, futures are nourished. With access to nutritious foods, we can all reach our full potential.

We can end hunger — one helping at a time.

Take Action During Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month is an annual nationwide campaign each September, where we come together to raise awareness about hunger in and inspire action. Hunger Action Month reminds us that we can end hunger — one helping at a time. Whether you share, volunteer, advocate, fundraise or donate, every action counts. Here are just a few ideas for taking action this month:
