Donate Food to Hawai‘i Foodbank

Food donations are vital to our ongoing mission of collecting and redistributing millions of pounds of food to vulnerable members of our ‘ohana

Because of Hawai‘i’s unique geographical location, physical food donations remain an important part of Hawai‘i Foodbank’s operational model. Your food donations help us quickly stock our shelves and maintain the flow of food to those in need. We obtain food from manufacturers and growers, distributors and wholesalers, grocery stores, as well as community food drives and individual donations. Whether you plan to make a difference on your own, as a member of a team or on behalf of your business — there are a variety of ways for you to donate food.

Drop Off Food at Our Warehouses

Hawai‘i Foodbank is happy to receive your donations at our warehouses. We are open and accept donations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For more information on how you can start a community food drive at your business, school, club, place of worship, neighborhood, organization or anywhere else — please visit our Food and Fund Drive page or check out our Food Drive Toolkit.

Food Industry Partners

While community food drives and individual food donations are extremely valuable, the scale of our work also requires the support of donors in the manufacturing, warehouse and logistics, produce and agriculture, and food services industries. The ongoing support of food industry donors is paramount to helping us nourish hundreds of thousands of Hawaiʻi residents each year.

For food industry donations, please contact Teri Luna, director of product resourcing, at teri@hawaiifoodbank.org or 808-954-7860.

Other Helpful Resources

Hawai‘i Foodbank is grateful for your interest in donating food. Please take advantage of these other helpful resources. If you need additional support, please contact fooddrive@hawaiifoodbank.org.
