Emergency Relief
Donate to Hawai‘i Foodbank's Emergency Relief Fund
When disaster strikes, Hawai‘i Foodbank is on the ground and ready to provide food assistance and emergency supplies. Our extensive network of food partner agencies makes us uniquely prepared to respond in the event of a disaster.
Disaster preparedness and relief are integral pillars of Hawai‘i Foodbank’s mission.
Over the years, Hawai‘i Foodbank has built a strong reputation for stepping up to serve Hawaiʻi in times of need. When Hurricane Iniki devastated Kaua‘i in 1992, our organization responded immediately by sending 1.5 million pounds of food to relief sites across the island. Our contributions to the Iniki relief efforts garnered statewide wide recognition — establishing Hawaiʻi Foodbank as an important disaster response organization. Since then, we’ve endured multiple natural disasters, and even a global health crisis. All of these experiences have taught us valuable lessons on preparedness, resilience and, ultimately, recovery.
Your support helps us provide immediate relief as well as prepare for long-term recovery.
